In .TR pre-orders, allocation processes are carried out according to the rules, legislation, procedures and principles specified in the Registration Policies and Procedures on the TRABIS website.
To pre-order an a.tr domain name, the customer is required to own any second level .tr domain extension. At the time of ordering, customers who do not own the domain name for priority rationale can apply by registering an available second level .tr domain name for registration along with the pre-order. In case the a.tr domain name application fails, the pre-order priority second level domain name allocated and fee paid for it will not be cancelled/refunded.
A domain name pre-ordered can be registered if not allocated in the 1st and 2nd Category Periods. If the allocation of the relevant domain name takes place in the 1st or 2nd Category period; the order in the 3rd Category will be cancelled.
In case of multiple persons/institutions applying for the same domain name, which person/institution will be allocated the domain name will be determined based on the priority hierarchy of the domain name extension that is the priority rationale.
Priority hierarchy: 1. A.KEP.TR”, 2. “A.AV.TR”, 3. “A.DR.TR”, 4. “A.COM.TR”, 5. “A. ORG.TR”, 6. “A.NET.TR”, 7. “A.GEN.TR”, 8. “A.WEB.TR”, 9. “A.NAME.TR, 10. “A.İNFO.TR, 11. “A.TV.TR, 12. “A.BBS.TR, 13. “A.TEL.TR For example: For domain.tr, if 2 different persons/institutions owning domain.com.tr and domain.net.tr apply, the domain.tr will be allocated to the owner of domain.com.tr. If the owner of domain.com.tr does not use the application right; the domain.tr will be allocated to the person/institution owning the domain.net.tr.
After the completion of the Category and finalization of a.tr domain name applications by TRABIS, a notification e-mail will be sent to the customer for successful pre-order applications. The relevant domain name will be added to the customer's account and made ready for management.
The .TR pre-order fee is determined according to the current procedures, principles and economic conditions announced by TRABIS. Before the finalization of pre-orders, TRABIS may request the customer to pay a price difference in case of price updates or significant changes in the country's economic conditions. The customer can continue the pre-order proceedings by paying the price difference or request the refund to be added to their deposit by refusing to make additional payment.
.TR pre-order applications cannot be cancelled/refunded before the announcement of 3rd Category results.
Cancellation/refund requests cannot be made for successful pre-order applications resulting in domain name allocation.
For unsuccessful pre-order applications, the customer is notified via e-mail. Refunds for unsuccessful orders are made to the customer's deposit. No refund method other than refund to customer deposit is used.
All Domain Resellers and Customers accept the following terms:
a) When placing a Pre-Order for unverified .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr, the Reseller/Customer accepts that the deposit in their DomainNameAPI.com account will be collected immediately for the pre-order registration of the Customer's order.
b) When making a pre-order registration, the Reseller/Customer accepts that keeping the domain whois information up-to-date and correct is the responsibility of the Reseller/Customer and the domain cannot be registered due to incomplete-incorrect whois records.
c) Compliance with the Registration Policies and Procedures on the Trabis website (if you cannot find this, you can contact us and we will send you a direct link if necessary).
.TR Domain Pre-Order FAQWhat is a .TR domain name?
.TR is the Turkey domain extension (Turkey ccTDL). It is targeted by BTK's TRABIS to be opened for registration at the end of 2023. After unverified .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr in 2022, now the .TR domain extension will also be given without documents.
If I pre-order a domain, does this mean I have registered a domain name?
Placing a pre-order does not guarantee you will get your domain address. However, we will guarantee that your domain address will be queued and ready to be sent to the registry immediately after General Availability opens. If for any reason you cannot get your domain name, your registration fee will be refunded to your deposit.
What are the registration fees for domain pre-orders?
Only the registration fee is collected for pre-orders. If the domain name is not given to you, this fee will be refunded to your deposit without any deductions.
What happens if there are multiple pre-order requests for a domain?
For .com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr domain extensions, only 1 order can be placed by the first reserving person.
